FAVOURITE POSES
1. Headstand (Salamba Sirsasana 1)
It’s always been my favourite particularly throughout my pregnancy
2. Tree Pose (Vrksasana 1)
Everything leaves the mind apart from the pose
3. Spread Legs (Prasarita Padottanasana 1)
A nice stretch but allows me to rest
4. Tortoise (Kurmasana)
When I was thin I could do this really well
5. Lying Down (Supta Baddha Konasana)
Very calming when “off games” and relaxing
6. Dog Pose (Adho Mukha Svanasana)
This is a lovely all round stretch
7. Shoulder Stand (Salamba Sarvangasana)
A good opportunity to have everything upside down
8. Legs Up Wall (Viparita Karani)
Probably difficult to do on a desert island, but is great to feel my legs go lighter as the blood travels away from my feet

NOT SO FAVOURITE POSES
1. Twist (Ardha Matsyendrasana 1)
I just keep wobbling
2. Reverse Triangle (Parivrita Trikonasana)
I just don’t bend that way
3. Hero (Virasana)
Kills your ankles
4. Lotus (Padmasana)
Can no longer achieve it
5. Bow (Dhanurasana)
Just awkward to do
6. Camel (Ustrasana)
My arms are too short!
7. Salute to sun (Surya Namaskar)
I’m worn out if this is the first thing we do!
8. Eagle Pose (Garudasana)
Legs and arms too short for this one!

WHAT LUXURIES TO TAKE
1 Shampoo and conditioner for my long hair
2 Toothbrush and toothpaste
